Distinctive features
- The November 1 race starts at Orthodox Luermen Shengmu Temple in Tainan and explores Guosheng Lighthouse, the Qigu salt fields and the Tainan coast.
- 100K: start at 05:00, finish cutoff at 19:30, entry fee NT$2,300.
- Challenge A, 51K: 05:00 start and 12:00 cutoff. Challenge B, 50K: 12:00 start and 19:00 cutoff. Both cost NT$1,300.
Runner notes
- The course has no traffic control and only limited junction markings. Download the GPX and navigate with a watch or phone.
- Mandatory equipment includes a headlamp, hydration pack or bottle belt, reusable cup and utensils, health-insurance card, cash, phone and charging equipment. Aid stations are about 13-15 km apart.
- Watch for the runner briefing email 7-10 days before race day and download the updated route. There is no sweep vehicle or shuttle service.
